Golfing At Pelican Sound

Members of Pelican Sound Golf and River Club can have a great golfing experience at their 27-hole championship private golf courses designed by one of the best golf architects – Chip Powell, and with the help of Mike Hill, Senior PGA Tour Player. Surrounded with nature’s blessings from woodlands and wetlands, the wide private golf course is built while preserving the nature ensuring a grand a state-of-the-art golf course that is environmentally friendly.

All skill levels will enjoy the course. There are seven tees for each golf course ranging from 4,600 to 7,100 yards so all players from professionals to beginners can find the course that will match their skills. The 18-hole course is designed for constant change so that golfers are challenged daily.

A large practice facility for golfers is also available which is fully equipped with putting greens, chipping areas, and aqua driving range. There are also golf professionals who give golf lessons, golf clinics, and private lessons the whole year. Residents can join fun golf activities and competitions within the community such as the Tuesday Ladies’ Day, Thursday Twilight Golf, Friday Men’s Day, and Sunday Couple’s events.

Pelican Sound Amenities

Dining and hosting social events is great at Pelican Sound Golf Club. The Club offers a wide range of scrumptious menus for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and various special events. The Golf Club dining area is composed of a main dining hall, a lounge room, veranda, and private dining room for small and intimate dining events.

If you want to host a party, the Golf Club also offers catering services for various occasions like holiday parties, wedding parties, bridal and baby showers, and corporate events. Pelican Sound is a gated private community but select events and celebrations are available to the public.

Aside from golf and wonderful food, another great thing to enjoy at Pelican Sound is the tennis courts. Residents can practice, join some friendly matches, and improve their professional tennis skills in the 6 well-lighted modern Hart-Tru tennis courts. The tennis courts are available for all kinds of players from professionals to novice. The river and the beach are easily accessible and enjoyable through the Pelican Sound’s River Boat transport. Lovers Key is a great 2-hour round trip, and the River Boat will transport passengers from the River Club to the beautiful white-sand beach.
