Golfing at Mediterra

There are two superb golf courses available to play at Mediterra, easily named the North and South Course. Both courses are designed by Tom Fazio, and both courses feature 18 holes. The South Course features rolling terrain with towering pine trees bordering the greens and fairways. Members will find that approach shots will be challenging, surrounded by preserved land, and lakes, that will demand accuracy on just about every shot. The North Course features sand traps that, in some cases, will run the length of a hole. This course has narrow fairways that will require an accurate drive off the tee. Approach shots are slightly more forgiving on the North Course, but both courses feature spectacular landscape and preserve areas. The Learning Center at Mediterra is offered as a convenience to avid golfers. Members enjoy the enclosed hitting station, with video equipment and a launch monitor which provides analysis down to the science of your swing. Outdoors, there are two hitting stations to work on your driving and iron game. The 2.5 acre short game practice area allows members to replicate shots that they may face when playing either course.

The Mediterra Clubhouse

The 25,000 square foot clubhouse, which expanded its outdoor dining area in 2011, creates an inviting feeling for members and guests. Members can enjoy fine, casual dining that can compete with the area's finest restaurants. A professional staff plans at least a dozen themed events every month. Catering opportunities also allow members to host events either at the clubhouse or in the comfort of their own home. The Sports Club houses state of the art fitness equipment. Personal trainers are also on site to assist with all of your exercising and workout needs, or you can enjoy an exhilarating aerobic workout. The professional staff at the fitness center can provide insight in regards to your exercise goals, and there are classes for yoga, pilates, and more on a regular basis. Tennis players also enjoy the seven Har-Tru tennis courts located just outside the clubhouse.

The Beach Club
